I first retained North Arrow Landscaping to remove large, 1.5-inch chunks of gravel that covered half the yard and had been laid by the developer for some reason. Scott came in well under the other quotes I had obtained and did the work quickly and professionally with his cheerful and reliable staff.
In discussing the area with Scott, his depth of knowledge and genuine joy in his work became quickly apparent. Choosing appropriate plants, sustainability and livability were all top of mind. After some discussions, Scott designed an amazing landscape plan for my backyard. Over the next two years, Scott installed mounding flower beds, compact pathways, soil, excellent fertilizer, a patio, pond water feature and watering system.
At each step Scott listened carefully, ensured he understood what we were asking for, made fantastic recommendations to fit the project into our budget, and executed the work with care and diligence. He is incredibly honest and hardworking, and even came in under budget on some of the projects, though no corners were cut. To the contrary, I believe North Arrow Landscaping regularly goes above and beyond in service to their clients.
Scott’s team works at an amazing pace, show great care in the work they undertake and have transformed my sandy, gravelly backyard into a winding oasis, have improved the value of the home and created an area where we absolutely love to spend time. The change is simply amazing.
